2. Use of Service
By using Skrape.ai's API, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
- Maintain the security of your API credentials
- Use the API in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Not exceed the rate limits or abuse the API service
- Not reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models or algorithms
- Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Accept that by creating an account, you will be added to our mailing list for service updates, announcements, and related communications
- Accept that we collect usage analytics and behavior data through OpenPanel to improve our service
3. Payment Terms and Refunds
Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
Under Norwegian law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for our services. However:
Digital Service Delivery:
- By signing up and explicitly requesting immediate access to our digital services, you:
- Agree that service delivery begins immediately
- Acknowledge that your withdrawal right will be lost once the service is fully delivered
Refund Policy:
Refunds are provided only in the following cases:
- Service unavailability exceeding 24 consecutive hours
- Billing errors or unauthorized charges
- Cases where required by law
Payment processing services for Skrape.ai are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these Terms, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as may be modified by Stripe from time to time.
4. API Usage and Limitations
Our API is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the API service at any time. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your API credentials and for maintaining appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your API keys.
5. Account Registration
User authentication is provided through Clerk. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to comply with Clerk's terms of service and privacy policy. You also agree to OpenPanel's privacy policy for analytics data collection. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lystad Ventures and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works or adaptations of, publicly display or in any way exploit any of the content in whole or in part except as expressly authorized by us.
8. Data Protection and Privacy Laws
As a Norwegian company, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable European privacy laws. Additionally, if you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Under these laws, you have various rights including:
- The right to access your personal data
- The right to delete your personal data
- The right to correct inaccurate personal data
- The right to data portability
- The right to object to processing
- The right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (California residents)

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. However, these terms do not override mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to GDPR for EU residents and CCPA/CPRA for California residents.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Lystad Ventures, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
12. Order Fulfillment and Service Policies
Service Delivery
As a digital service provider:
- Access to our service is provided immediately upon successful payment processing
- Service availability is subject to our uptime guarantee of 99.9%
- Any planned maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance
- Technical support is available 24/7 through our support channels
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancellations can be made through your account dashboard or by contacting support
- Your service will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the billing period
- You will retain access to your data for 30 days after cancellation
Service Level Agreement
Our commitment to service quality includes:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee for our core services
- Response time within 24 hours for all support tickets
- Regular backups of all user data
- Immediate notification of any security incidents
